Modelling shallow confinement in tuneable quantum dots as a 1D cubic potential

This paper is planned to be submitted for publishing to Physical Review Letters.
2) An accompanying paper with the working title "Modelling shallow confinement in tuneable quantum dots" is planned to be submitted to Physical Review B. This paper is intended as a theory paper which explains the implications of the cubic potential for quantum dot experiments under the various settings mentioned in the abstract.Presenters
