Research and Education Activities under NSF-IGERT program at the University of Texas-Austin

Abstract

An overview will be given for the research and education activities conducted under a NSF funded Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship Program (IGERT) at the University of Texas-Austin. The scheme of this program is on ``Atomic and Molecular Imaging of Interfaces/defects in Electronic, Spintronic, and Organic/Inorganic Materials''. I will describe several research projects and outreach activities including the Nanoscience Summer Academy.
