Detecting Low Frequency Timing Irregularities in Radio Pulsar Data
ORAL
Abstract
Pulsars, particularly millisecond pulsars, are known to be some of the most precise clocks in the universe. Because of their stability, pulsars have been proposed as a means to detect gravitational waves. As it turns out gravitational waves introduce low frequency timing irregularities. Here, we discuss a new technique to detect this low frequency timing irregularities and compared them to standard Fourier Transform based techniques.
