Brief on Four Years of Science Graduation Requirement

Abstract
This session will summarize the latest news on the State Board of Education's new policy on requiring four years of science for students entering high school in 2007 and graduating on the Recommended or Distinguished Achievement plans. Implications for curriculum alignment, course offerings, and teacher training will be discussed. A high school round table discussion on these issues will also be offered at a separate time during the TSAAPT meeting.
