Get the Facts Out: Developing Your Teacher Recruitment Plan

ORAL  · Invited

Abstract

In this session participants will learn about some of the background and impact of the Get the Facts Out project on student perceptions of teaching along with how this informs the development of a teacher recruitment plan. A step by step breakdown of the GFO Student Presentation, with data on the effectiveness of the presentation, will be shared. Time will be spent discussing ideas on how to modify the presentation, with justifications of its key components, for use in your local context. Lastly, there will be an opportunity for participants to start building their own teacher recruitment plan that makes use of the GFO resources and website.
