Electromagnetic Waves Across the Science Spectrum I

ORAL

Abstract

In this workshop we will share ideas about the role of the electromagnetic spectrum in various ``branches" of science. Examples include: absorption spectrum from plants, spectroscopic identification in chemistry, fluorescent rocks, infrared and ultraviolet detection in physics. We will discuss and demonstrate expensive, versus relatively inexpensive equipment.
