Probing 2D Materials using GHz Resonators at Millikelvin Temperatures
ORAL
Abstract
Many interesting quantum states have been discovered in 2D materials. However, many strongly correlated states are difficult to study using conventional approaches such as charge transport. Here we represent our efforts in developing an experimental platform that enables microwave frequency measurements on 2D materials at ultra-low temperatures. In particular, we demonstrate an example of coupling surface acoustic wave resonators with monolayer crystals in a dilution refrigerator and under high magnetic fields.
