Quantum Diamond Microscope for Real-space NMR Imaging

ORAL

Abstract

Nitrogen vacancy (NV) centers in diamond enable high-resolution nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy of small samples. We are developing a quantum diamond microscope (QDM) to provide real-space NMR imaging with micron-scale spatial resolution and millimeter-scale field-of-view. The QDM-NMR will provide spatio-temporal information of diverse molecules and nuclear species in bulk matter, with braod applications in the physical and life sciences.
