Thermoelectric magnetotransport in superconducting interferometers

ORAL

Abstract

We consider galvanomagnetic and thermoelectric responses in mesoscopic normal metal-superconductor interferometers. It is shown that these responses can be anomalously large and their oscillation as a function of the magnetic flux can be attributed to the electron-hole symmetry violation that originates in the steady-state charge imbalance between different arms of the interferometer. We consider several interferometer geometries and develop a detailed theory of the thermoelectric magnetotransport phenomena and nonequilibrium noise in the framework of the quasiclassical approach extended to the case of noncentrosymmetric devices.
