Odd viscosity in rotating Bose Einstein condensates

ORAL

Abstract

We discuss the phenomenology of odd viscosity in rotating Bose Einstein condensates and propose a diagnostic of its presence. We provide a microscopic prediction for it in several rotating geometries, and provide suggestions for manipulating its value. Finally, we discuss the experimental outlook for its detection.
