Electrostatic coupling of double layer self assembled quantum dots
ORAL
Abstract
The electron capture- and emission dynamics of two layers of self-assembled quantum dots in large distance to each other as well as to their reservoirs is studied by time resolved capacitance spectroscopy. The charge transfer rates of the individual layers are influenced by their mutual electrostatic coupling [1], resulting in a shift of the extracted binding energies and in a modified DLTS peak shapes. To model these effects, the corresponding system of rate equations is solved [2].
