Scaling in reactions involving unitarity bosons

ORAL

Abstract

We discuss the behaviour of the rates of scattering processes where three identical bosons at unitarity are emitted in the final state, extending the recent work on ``unnuclear physics'' [1] to chemical reactions involving helium atoms. Despite the presence of the Efimov effect, which breaks scale invariance down to a discrete scale invariance in the bound state spectrum, we still find a scaling regime in the behaviour of the rates of these processes.
