Elements of Majorana-based quantum computing

Abstract
Majorana bound states have been suggested as building blocks of a topological quantum computer. In this talk, I will discuss theoretical ideas how to implement Majorana-based quantum computing, focusing on Majorana qubits and their readout as well as a possible realization of a universal set of quantum gates.
