Modeling Interference of a Two-Photon State Using Optical Pulses
POSTER
Abstract
A pair of optical pulses incident on a Mach-Zehnder interferometer were modeled to explore the similarities and differences between interfering classical and quantum light. A time delay was modeled in one arm of the interferometer to vary the interference of the classical pulses. The resulting coincidence rates were modeled and compared to the quantum optical case of a two-photon input state, showing differences in interference pattern between quantum and classical light.
