Using 3D Printing in the Lab
POSTER
Abstract
3D printing is now more accessible than ever before. Its affordability has made it possible to create parts useful in multiple scientific capacities. The accessibility of these instruments in effect brings a machine shop to small universities where resources are limited and there is no access to the service from a machine shop. Parts created with commonly available stereolithography 3D printer are described for use with a cryogen free NMR. In addition to this, the advantages and disadvantages of the parts created with 3D printers have been studied.
