Specific energy and power measures of an electric battery configuration based on the graphene oxide electrodes

POSTER

Abstract

Measures of the specific energy and power in an electric battery configuration from a solid-state, based on pyrolytic graphene oxide electrodes (GO) and electrolyte of sodium chloride dissolved into a polyvinyl alcohol at 5% wt, are presented here. Specific energy at 8 mWh/Kg and power at 15 W/Kg, with battery voltage close to 100mV, were measures by the current-voltage method in GO-batteries prototypes. These results suggest that pyrolytic GO is an excellent candidate material to electrodes in solid-state batteries.
