Demonstration of high-fidelity parametric-resonance gates at scale

Abstract

We demonstrate high-fidelity parametric-resonance entangling gates in multi-qubit floating tunable coupler architectures. We considered two configurations of the tunable coupler pads where the zero-coupling coupling can be achieved when the coupler frequency is either above (asymmetric configuration) or below (symmetric configuration) the qubits frequencies. We realized iSWAP and CZ two-qubit gates on both configurations and obtained high-fidelity values with interleaved randomized benchmarking.
