Boundary theory of the X-cube model: a continuum perspective

POSTER

Abstract

We study the boundary theory of the ZX-cube fracton model using the continuum field theory description. Different gapped boundary conditions are discussed and the corresponding ground state degeneracies (GSD) are presented. Interestingly, the extensive part in the GSD varies with the boundary conditions.
