Dissipation-induced antiferromagnetic-like frustration in coupled photonic resonators

Abstract
We show theoretically how to create dissipatively antiferromagnetic-like frustration between coupled photonic resonators with quantum nonlinearities [1]. The proposed reservoir-engineering scheme can be implemented in platforms such as circuit QED and generalized into arbitrary geometry, providing a fully controllable recipe for simulating antiferromagnetism and frustration in dissipative systems.
