One-dimensional repulsive Hubbard model with mass imbalance
ORAL
Abstract
We investigate the phase diagram of the one-dimensional repulsive Hubbard model with mass imbalance away from half-filling. Using DMRG we show that this model has a triplet paired phase at generic fillings, consistent with previous theoretical analyses.
We argue that this phase is a topological critical phase, based on our observation of a long-range string order and the absence of an odd-even effect. We also find, using DMRG, that at $1/3$ filling, commensurate effects lead to two additional phases: a crystal phase and a trion phase. Finally, we demonstrate how all of these phases descend from Tomonaga-Luttinger liquid theory.
