Dynamic Strength in Polymers

ORAL

Abstract

Dynamic strength in polymers has been related to the underlying polymer structure in studies by Bourne, Millett, and co-workers. However, the majority of this work focused on changing the polymer chemistry. In this study, the effect of polymer structure, e.g. crystallinity, on dynamic polymer strength is investigated. The current understanding of polymer strength will be reviewed and recent results will be presented.
