μ-ARPES studies of few-layer WTe2

ORAL

Abstract

WTe2 exhibits a wide variety of physics in its bulk and monolayer regimes including two different topological phases, non-saturating magnetoresistance, and superconductivity under pressure or gating. We will present micro-ARPES studies on bulk and few-layer WTe2, which connect microscopic electronic structure to observations from transport experiments. Doping-dependence, spatial inhomogeneity, and layer-dependence of electronic structure and interactions will be discussed.
