Looking for new layered ferromagnetic semiconductor

ORAL

Abstract

Layered magnetic semiconductors have attracted great attention recently since ferromagnetism was demonstrated to persist down to single-molecular-layer level. In this talk, we will show our recent effort in looking for new compounds under this category and report the discovery of a new layered ferromagnetic semiconductor with a van der Waals gap.
