Low Temperature Terahertz Nano-spectroscopy and Imaging of an YBCO Thin Film
ORAL
Abstract
We discuss the development of cryogenic scanning near-field microscope suitable for nano-scale imaging and spectroscopy in the terahertz frequency range with the spatial resolution below 130 nm. We report near-field measurement using this technology of a c-axis oriented YBa2Cu3O7 thin film above and below the superconducting transition temperature. Contrast in the near-field signal can be observed between the superconducting and normal state. We will discuss the spatial and temperature dependence of the terahertz near-field signal and spectra.
