Quantum quenches and relaxation dynamics in the thermodynamic limit

Abstract
We implement numerical linked cluster expansion (NLCEs) to study dynamics of one-dimensional systems of hard-core bosons close to an integrable point in the thermodynamic limit. We find that local observables exhibit exponential relaxation in the time scales accessible to us. We calculate the relaxation rates and find that they scale quadratically with the strength of the integrability breaking perturbation.
