ARPES studies of the model cuprate HgBa2CuO4+δ (Hg1201)

ORAL

Abstract

HgBa2CuO4+δ (Hg1201) is considered to be a model cuprate and has been well characterized by transport and scattering experiments. It has recently been studied with angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES), and we build on these initial investigations with measurements in the underdoped regime. We discuss mode-coupling, surface effects on spectra, and temperature-dependent scattering rates, making connections to various bulk characterizations.
