Neutron Study of Spiral Magnetism in Au$_{2}$Mn

Abstract

The binary compound Au$_{2}$Mn is known to order magnetically with a spiral structure. The pitch of the spiral has been previous shown to be dependent upon temerature and pressure. We will discuss the results of neutron diffraction measurements, in which we study the low temperature behavior of the spiral to higher pressure.
