Electronic Structure of Silicene Studied by Angle Resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy

ORAL

Abstract

Silicene, similar to its counterpart of graphene, has generated a great interest. We have prepared silicenes on Ag(111) substrate and carried out angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy measurements on them. We will report on the electronic structure of silicene with different reconstruction configurations and discuss its implications.
