An Angle Resolved Photoemission Survey of the Band Structure of the Heavy Fermion Superconductor, CeCoIn$_5$

Abstract

With the highest T$_c$ of the non-radioactive heavy fermion materials, CeCoIn$_5$ has been extensively studied by a host of techniques. However direct measurements of the band structure via angle resolved photo-emission spectroscopy has been limited to just a few experiments. We will present our studies of the momentum, temperature, photon energy and polarization dependence of the band structure of CeCoIn$_5$. We will compare our results with theory and other experimental results.
