Unusual in-gap and hybridized states of a topological Kondo insulator candidate, SmB$_{6}$

ORAL

Abstract

Topological Kondo insulators represent a new type of topological insulator, in which a Kondo insulator exhibits non-trivial topological electronic structure and possesses an odd number of surface Dirac fermions in the bulk energy gap. Using angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) and electric transport measurements, we investigated the electronic structure of SmB$_{6}$, a topological Kondo insulator candidate proposed recently. More details will be introduced in the presentation.
