Refraction and reflection process in a ferromagnet/frustrated-ferromagnet junction

POSTER

Abstract

The refraction and reflection process plays an important role in controlling a propagation of spinwave. In this presentation, we study the refraction and reflection process of spinwave in the junction of the (usual) ferromagnet/frustrated ferromagnet junction. Frustration induces a nontrivial dispersion relation of spinwave even in the fully polarized ferromagnet phase. As a result, we find exotic refraction processes such as the splitting of spin waves and the negative refraction.
