Arrangement of the Microdomains of Block Copolymers Confined at Hemi-sphere Walls

Abstract
The arrangement of the microdomains of polystyrene-\textit{block}-poly(methyl methacrylate) copolymer (PS-$b$-PMMA) confined at hemi-sphere walls was investigated by scanning and transmission electron microscopy. The hemi-spherical constraint was introduced by using anodic aluminum oxide template.. The wall surface was modified by thin layers grafted by PS, PMMA, and PS-\textit{ran}-PMMA copolymer. We observed interesting morphologies which have not been observed. The observed microdomain arrangement was compared with theoretical predictions.
