Mentoring undergraduates for experimental research in physics

ORAL

Abstract

Undergraduate research experiences are pivotal in shaping careers in physics. I will support this thesis$-$the implicit focus of this session$-$with anecdotes highlighting research performed by undergraduates in my group at the University of Pittsburgh, as well as my own recollections as an undergraduate researcher.
