Nernst effect in the pnictide superconductor Ba(Fe$_{1-x}$Co$_x$)$_2$As$_2$

ORAL

Abstract

In an attempt to shed light on the electronic transformations that pnictide superconductors undergo in different regions of their phase diagram, we have measured the Nernst effect of Ba (Fe$_{1-x}$Co$_x$)$_2$As$_2$ as a function of Co concentration. The data is presented and analyzed in terms of its two contributions, from superconducting fluctuations and normal- state quasiparticles, respectively.
