Substrate effects on a graphene membrane

Abstract

We study the effect of the substrate on the configuration of a graphene membrane within elastic theory. We analyze different forms of spatial disorder of the substrate and its coupling to graphene's phonon modes. In-plane and flexural modes of the graphene membrane are taken into account.
