Composite fermions and conformal field theory

Abstract

We show how Quantum Hall quasiparticle wave functions similar to those in the composite fermion theory are related to correlators of certain nonlocal operators in a conformal field theory. Charge and statistics are determined using both analytical and numerical methods.
