Small-angle neutron scattering study of lipid bilayers of magneto-vesicles
ORAL
Abstract
We present results from a small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) study of two types of magneto-vesicles (MVs): dioleoylphosphatidylcholine (DOPC) vesicles containing citrate-coated magnetic nanoparticles and those containing oleic-acid-coated magnetic particles. By using a polydisperse core shell model, these MVs were found to have similar sizes as their original vesicles without magnetic particles and their bilayer thicknesses to be consistent with unilamellar structure.
