Rigidity percolation and ``intermediate phase'' in randomly connected networks

Abstract

Between the usual floppy and rigid phases, an intermediate phase has recently been identified in rigidity percolation, both theoretically and experimentally. We present a simple model that enables us to analytically characterize this intermediate phase.
