Proton mass and trace anomaly: an overview

ORAL  · Invited

Abstract

Recently, there have been strong activities, both theoretically and experimentally, in understanding the mass and spin structures of the nucleon, or more generally, the gravitational form factors that encode this information. I will give an overview talk of the recent theoretical developments in this direction. Specifically, I will talk about various aspects of the QCD trace anomaly (or the gluon condensate) including its relevance to high and low-energy experiments.
