Statistical analysis of hadronic B decays
ORAL
Abstract
We calculate amplitudes for B decays to light pseudoscalar meson pairs using SU(3) group theory and diagrams. We use these amplitudes to calculate observables—Bcp, Acp, and Scp—which we use to obtain a Chi-Squared fit with the measured observables. Minimizing this fit gives us parameter values. We do this fit combining both ΔS=0 and ΔS=1 decay modes, and we obtain a p-value which shows how well the theory fits with SU(3)F symmetry. The results show a possible misunderstanding or new physics related to this theory.
