Single-photon induced Electromagnetically Induced Transparency in nonlinear waveguide quantum electrodynamics.

POSTER

Abstract

In this poster, we present our findings on the project of single-photon Electromagnetically Induced Transparency (EIT) in non-linear waveguide quantum electrodynamics (WQED). In particular, we focus on how the non-linear dispersion relation of waveguides can impact some of the key features of the EIT spectral profile (for instance, EIT peak height and linewidth) as compared to the corresponding linear case. We expect the results presented here to be useful in developing quantum networking protocols where single photon stoppage/storage or slowing down (utilizing EIT) is an important requirement.
