Recoil-order and radiative corrections to the aCORN experiment

ORAL

Abstract

Recoil-order and radiative corrections to neutron decay correlations enter at the 10-3 level, important at the precision level of recent and future experiments, especially when comparing results for λ = GA/GV. The aCORN experiment measures the neutron electron-antineutrino correlation (a-coefficient). We update the previous aCORN results to include these corrections, and discuss a key issue in the comparison of results from different a-coefficient experimental methods when these effects are considered.
