Quantum Simulation of QCD

ORAL

Abstract

Analytic solutions to QCD are functionally impossible due to the nature of the strong force. Classically, QCD is studied computationally via lattice QCD. Quantum simulation offers an alternative to classical computing in that it can simulate an exponentially large Hilbert space. We show the approach taken to simulate QCD via quantum computing and the progress made to accomplish this task.
