Two-body matrix elements for symmetry violating interactions.

ORAL

Abstract

Parity violating (PV) and time reversal invariance violating (TRIV) two-body matrix elements are calculated for heavy nuclei in the shell-model framework using Desplanques-Donaghue-Holstein and effective field theory interactions representations. A comparative analysis of PV and TRIV matrix elements illustrates a sensitivity of TRIV effects in nuclear reactions to particular mechanisms of TRIV at low energy nuclear interactions.
