Systematic Effects in the aCORN Experiment
ORAL
Abstract
The aCORN experiment measures the neutron decay $a$-coefficient. Important systematic effects from the aCORN NG-C run will be discussed. These include transverse magnetic and electric fields, electron backscatter, proton scattering and focusing, collimator alignment, residual gas interactions, and neutron polarization.
