Characterization of NeutronSTARS for Surrogate (n,2n) Measurement

Abstract

NeutronSTARS (neutron silicon telescope array for reaction studies) is a detector apparatus for in beam cross section measurements, specifically (n,2n) reactions on actinides. Both simulations and measurements have been performed to characterize the arrays performance.
