A modular quantum control framework for quantum information processing with trapped atomic ions

POSTER

Abstract

We present a quantum control framework for expressing quantum information experiments on trapped-ion platforms. The modular framework provides multiple interfaces for expressing experiments which improve ease of use, increase portability, and retain precise control. We build on widely used open-source technologies such as ARTIQ to simplify the deployment of control systems to new apparatuses. Here, we demonstrate how the framework can implement a full-stack control system with a simple example experiment.
