Shielded dipolar systems

ORAL

Abstract

This work investigates how short-range effects between ground-state polar molecules diminish in the presence of microwaves. We specifically look at the long-range interactions between two or three shielded polar molecules and examine the possible collisional pathways. Our results show a specific range of field frequencies and amplitudes that make tetramers form, with long bond lengths around 10^4 a_0. We also analyze different event rates at which these tetramers form and study their lifetimes.
