Probing Radiative Lifetimes in Lithium Dimer Ion-Pair States of 61Σg+ symmetry using Time-Resolved Molecular Spectroscopy

POSTER

Abstract

We performed time-resolved molecular spectroscopy experiments to measure the radiative lifetimes of alkali dimer ion-pair states of 6Σg+ symmetry, with a specific focus on our current project involving lithium molecules. Using pulsed-lasers and a double-resonance spectroscopy method, we conducted lifetime measurements through a time-correlated photon-counting technique at various temperatures and pressures. Our presentation includes detailed methods used to determine the radiative lifetimes in the collision-free regime. The results demonstrate close agreements within the error limits with theoretical lifetime calculations.
