Exploring parametric resonances in Bose-Einsten condensates with spin-orbit coupling

Abstract

Spin-orbit coupling provides a set of useful system parameters to control in cold atom experiments that have applications to spintronics and quantum computation. Here we utilize spin-orbit coupling to probe parametric resonances in computational bosonic superfluids via modulating these parameters in the presence of a potential.
